Not sure how safe your business really is? We check your email, Microsoft 365, computers, network and backups, then give you a plain-language report and a ranked list of what to fix first. You pay once. There is no contract.
What we check
- Email security records and website security basics
- Microsoft 365: who has MFA, admin accounts, risky mail forwarding rules and old sign-in methods
- Computers: updates, antivirus, disk encryption, admin rights and unsupported systems such as Windows 10 and Office 2021
- Network and Wi-Fi: default passwords, router updates and a separate guest network
- Backups: whether they exist and whether they are ever tested
- Passwords: whether your staff emails appear in known data breaches
- A quick POPIA checklist: where personal data is kept and who can see it (a checklist, not legal advice)

Price
- 1 to 5 people: R2,500
- 6 to 15 people: R4,500
- 16 to 30 people: R7,500
- More than 30 people: contact us for a quote
- Yearly re-test: half price
Join one of our monthly IT support plans within 30 days of getting your report and we take R500 off your first month. No VAT is added.
How it works
- Choose your team size and pay by EFT.
- We email you a short authorisation form and a few questions.
- You reply with your permission and set up read-only access for us.
- We run the check and send your report within 5 business days.
- We walk you through it on a call.
Good to know
- We need your written permission before we check anything.
- We use read-only access. Please never send passwords by email or message.
- We do not attack or test anything in a way that could take your systems offline.
- This is a point-in-time check. No review can guarantee you will never be attacked.
- It is not a full penetration test. We can quote for that separately.
- Your report stays confidential.
Questions
Is this a penetration test?
No. It is a security review and health check. It finds the common weaknesses behind most break-ins and shows you how to fix them. A full penetration test goes deeper and is quoted separately.
Will it disturb my team?
No. We use read-only access and gentle checks, and we agree the timing with you first.
Do I need to give you my passwords?
No. For Microsoft 365 we ask you to create a temporary read-only account for us. We never ask for passwords by email or message.
What if you find something serious?
We tell you straight away, before the full report, and explain what to do first.
Do I have to use you to fix things?
No. The report is yours to keep and to use with anyone. We are happy to quote for the fixes if you would like us to do them.
How long does it take?
Your report arrives within 5 business days after we receive your access and your answers.
What about Windows 10 and Office 2021?
Both are covered in the report. Windows 10 is no longer supported and Office 2021 support ends on 13 October 2026. We can supply current Windows and Office licences from our shop, with free installation help.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel before we start and you get a full refund. Once you have given us access and work has started, the fee is not refundable.
Is VAT added?
No. We are not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Is it for home users too?
The Check-Up is built for businesses. Households get a yearly device tune-up with Home and Family Care.
